CSCCI donates 100,000.00 to Holy Rosary Preparatory Seminary.

CSCCI donates 100,000.00 to Holy Rosary Preparatory Seminary.

The Camarines Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. headed by its President, Ms. Maria Soledad V. Magtuto, turned over the amount of Php 100,000.00 as donation to the Holy Rosary Preparatory Seminary.

The said amount was raised through the Bisikleta Iglesia 2021 held last May 31 and April 1, 2021. The fundraising activity was a partnership between the CSCCI and the Archdiocese of Caceres as a spiritual pilgrimage for bicycle enthusiasts last Holy Week.

It provided an avenue for the participants to share in the development programs and formation activities for the seminarians of the Holy Rosary Preparatory Seminary at San Jose, Camarines Sur.

Present during the turn over were Most Rev. Rolando Tria Tirona, OCD, DD, Archbishop of Caceres; Fr. Jay Jacinto, rector of the Holy Rosary Preparatory Seminary together with Fr. Eric Bobis his fellow formator at the seminary. The CSCCI were represented by the President, Maria Soledad Magtuto, Maricel Ann Brioso, Chairperson of the Sport and Leisure Committee, BOT’s Ramon Simon Dy, Ricardo Magtuto, Enrico Evangelista, Michelle Lim and Jonathan Lim.

The Archbishop expressed his gratitude to the CSCCI and encouraged similar activities in the future as partners for social responsibility and development.
