CSCCI-Muramart Online Community Pantry Kicks Off

CSCCI IS POSITIVE! It’s not a virus, yet it’s highly contagious. It’s the spirit of joyful giving among Filipinos, igniting the hearts of many to set up community pantries all over the country, that inspired the Cam Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (CSCCI) and Muramart to start something unique. Promoting civic-mindedness or bayanihan while being mindful of the need to comply with health protocols, and ensuring sanitation and orderliness, the CSCCI and Muramart birthed the idea to utilize technology in its one-of-a kind, “Online Community Pantry.” This pantry is distinct from the popularized community pantries where people need not endure the rain or stay in long lines for hours just to get food items under the heat of the sun. CSCCI donates 100,000.00 to Holy Rosary Preparatory Seminary.

The Camarines Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. headed by its President, Ms. Maria Soledad V. Magtuto, turned over the amount of Php 100,000.00 as donation to the Holy Rosary Preparatory Seminary. The said amount was raised through the Bisikleta Iglesia 2021 held last May 31 and April 1, 2021. The fundraising activity was a partnership between the CSCCI and the Archdiocese of Caceres as a spiritual pilgrimage for bicycle enthusiasts last Holy Week. It provided an avenue for the participants to share in the development programs and formation activities for the seminarians of the Holy Rosary Preparatory Seminary at San Jose, Camarines Sur. Engr. Jonathan U. Lim represented CSCCI as TESDA RTC recognizes CamSur CCI’s active participation to TESDA advisory council particularly on industry-based training development and innovations in a meeting held at Rafabel’s Magsaysay last March 30, 2021.

Bisikleta Iglesia – 3 Routes, 1 Goal!

On March 31 and April 1, 2021, hundreds of cyclists joined the Camarines Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., and the Arch Diocese of Caceres for Bisikleta Iglesia 2021, a pious pilgrimage that takes participants on a tour of 14 churches, each representing one of the 14 stations of the cross. Bisikleta Iglesia 2021 created 3 routes for devout cyclists around Naga, Mt. Isarog, as well as Rinconada, and partnered with 14 parishes in each area. Registered participants received a Bisikleta Iglesia Kit, complete with a souvenir jersey, Bisikleta Iglesia stickers, and a prayerbook/passport. Cyclists biked from church to church, prayed, and got their passport stamped. Those who completed the pilgrimage by getting 14 stamps from the 14 participating parishes will receive a certificate of completion from the Camarines Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. CamSur Chamber of Commerce Launches First Women in Business Digitalk.

On March 24, 2021 the Camarines Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., (CSCCI) in partnership with the Province of Camarines Sur and the Department of Science and Technology celebrated women’s month by launching its very first Digitalk entitled “Creativity and Innovation in a Modified Lifestyle” via Facebook Live and Youtube. Hosted by Ms. Amy Cadiz, the program featured a host of prominent women leaders such as Ms. Maria Emma F. Llorin, the Founder and CEO of the Bicol based multi-awarded medical supplier, Medlane Diagnostic Solutions Incorporated, Ms. Pat Felizmenio, the Provincial Science and Technology Director of Camarines Sur and entrepreneur Ms. Hilaria Comia, owner of Great Hidee Trading as well as an inspiring message from the first woman president of the Camarines Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., Ms. Maria Soledad V.
